We have a spacious greeting room, specially designed to provide a serene and respectful environment for saying goodbye to your loved one. The room is equipped with stands on which flowers, candles, or other personal items can be placed. This allows the bereaved to decorate the room in a personal and meaningful way.

There's also a screen where photos of the deceased can be displayed. This can be a slideshow of cherished memories or a permanent photo with the deceased's name, creating a warm and personal atmosphere.

Our greeting room is flexible and can be used for various purposes. It's an ideal place for a small, intimate farewell, where family and friends can say their final goodbyes in peace and privacy. The room can also be used as an extension of the auditorium, providing greater capacity for larger ceremonies.

AUDITORIUM:

At the funeral home in Kortenberg , we have the charming "De Molenbeek" auditorium , which seats up to 50 people. This space is designed to provide a warm and respectful environment for farewell ceremonies. The auditorium is equipped with comfortable seating, allowing you to say goodbye to your loved one in a personal and meaningful way.

The name "De Molenbeek" refers to the natural surroundings and is inspired by the Molenbeek, a stream that flows through Kortenberg. This name emphasizes the connection with the region and brings a touch of tranquil nature into the auditorium.

In addition to hosting ceremonies, "De Molenbeek" auditorium also offers the option of hosting a coffee gathering for approximately 50 people. This allows you to gather with family and friends after the ceremony, share memories, and support each other in an intimate and serene setting. We are ready to assist you with organizing the coffee gathering, allowing you to fully focus on saying goodbye and remembering your loved one.

GARDEN:

The garden is currently under construction, but it can already be used as a place to relax. We are busy redesigning it to make it even more beautiful and functional. After the renovation, the garden will not only be a serene place for relaxation but also suitable for various occasions.

We plan to adapt the garden to make it perfect for ceremonies, coffee tables, and receptions. With a beautifully landscaped lawn and surrounded by tranquil nature, the garden will be an ideal location to say goodbye to loved ones in a respectful and peaceful way. We look forward to sharing this renovated space with you soon, but here's a preliminary design for now.

Around the funeral home: There are several parking spaces on the street where you can park safely. We kindly ask that you do not park on the sidewalk or in front of your neighbors' gates, so that everyone has easy access to their homes and the public space remains clear.
At the church in Kortenberg and on Brouwerijstraat: You can also park at the church in Kortenberg and on Brouwerijstraat. These parking spaces lead to the Berkenhof , from where you can easily reach the funeral home on foot. Follow the indicated route on the map to find your way to the funeral home.
GC Colomba, Kortenberg's sports center: There is a large parking lot at GC Colomba , Kortenberg's sports center. This location offers ample parking, and from here you can easily reach the funeral home on foot. It's a short and pleasant walk that leads directly to the funeral home.
