We have a spacious greeting room that is specially designed to provide a serene and respectful environment when saying goodbye to your loved one. The room is equipped with stands on which flowers, candles or other personal objects can be placed with the deceased. This offers relatives the opportunity to decorate the room personally and meaningfully.
In addition, there is a screen on which photos of the deceased can be shown. This can be a slide show with precious memories, or a fixed photo with the name of the deceased, creating a warm and personal atmosphere.
Our greeting room is flexible in use and can serve various purposes. It is an ideal place for a small and intimate farewell, where family and friends can say their last goodbye in peace and privacy. In addition, the room can also be used as an extension of the hall, which means there is more capacity for larger ceremonies.
AUDITORIUM:
In the funeral home in Kortenberg we have the atmospheric hall "De Molenbeek" , which can accommodate 50 people. This space is designed to offer a warm and respectful environment for farewell ceremonies. The hall is equipped with comfortable seats, so that you can say goodbye to your loved one in a personal and meaningful way.
In addition to holding ceremonies, the "De Molenbeek" auditorium also offers the possibility to organize a coffee table for approximately 50 people. This makes it possible to come together with family and friends after the ceremony, to share memories and support each other in an intimate and serene setting. Our staff is ready to help you organize the coffee table, so that you can fully focus on saying goodbye and commemorating your loved one.
GARDEN:
The garden is currently under construction, but can already be used as a place to relax or for smokers to smoke. We are busy with the redesign to make the garden even more beautiful and functional. After the renovation, the garden will not only be a serene place for relaxation, but also suitable for various occasions.
We plan to adapt the garden to make it perfect for ceremonies, coffee tables and receptions. With a beautifully landscaped lawn and surrounded by peaceful nature, the garden will be an ideal location to say goodbye to loved ones in a respectful and peaceful way.
